Lipoma treatment (Lipoma  removal procedure) in Delhi

Lipomas need to be treated only if they start bothering you or become painful or start growing. Many lipoma  treatment options  are available. They include:

Surgical removal or lipoma excision in Delhi

Most lipomas are removed surgically by cutting them out. It is a short, outpatient procedure.

Usually the procedure is performed under local anesthesia. In certain cases general anesthesia might be required. Recurrences after removal are uncommon. Possible side effects are scarring and bruising.

During surgery Dr Prashant will make an incision on the skin where the lump is located beneath. Then the lump is removed completely and skin is stitched back.

The procedure is quick, and patients can go home the same day as their surgeries.

Steroid injections in Delhi.

By this treatment lipoma is shrunk but usually doesn’t eliminate it. Complete removal is not achieved by the steroid injections. Also, chances of recurrence  are high with this procedure.

Liposuction in Delhi.

This treatment uses a needle and a large syringe to remove the fatty lump

The single or multiple lipomas can be removed safely and effectively by liposuction.  Here at Dezire clinic we use VASER liposuction technique. VASER liposuction has added advantage of melting the fat content by ultrasonic energy and facilitating its smooth removal. Mostly it is done under local anesthesia. After administration of local anesthesia with a very fine needle , the next step is making a small puncture in hidden areas and infiltration of tumescent solution so that bleeding and pain is less. The Vaser probe is inserted to loosen all the dense fat and even breaking the covering. With a hollow cannula and with help of high negative pressure all fat contents are removed from the lipoma. Due to  long cannulas many lipomas can be emptied using a small puncture.

Advantage of Vaser liposuction for multiple lipomas removal.

Vaser Liposuction is a preferred method of Lipoma removal as it causes minimal pain and minimal side effects. It offers early recovery and same day discharge. With VASER liposuction multiple lipomas  located at different sites are treated by making one puncture in hidden areas so there is no visible scarring. It can be performed under local anesthesia and all the fat along with its covering is achieved  with VASER liposuction.

Lipoma Removal Side effects

There is no permanent risk or complication of this procedure. There are few temporary side effects like pain, swelling and bruises after the procedure which stays for around 5 to 7 days. The necessary medicines are prescribed for 7 days so that these will be very minimal.
